This web site includes the Clinics, Norfolk Southern Research, and Other Prototype Research. Most of the clinics and research found on this site is the result of my own research while building the Scotts-dale Division or investigating other models that I like.

Norfolk Southern Research

Clinics

One of the series of article in the Clinics section is on Developing a Prototypical Locomotive Roster. There are two articles on the subject. Part I addresses the impact of your time period on the roster. Part II addresses model selection to develop a balanced roster. Other articles in the Clinics Section various topics such as correcting rolling stock weight are provided. An additional article specific to weighting open hoppers is also provided.

The DCC Clinic's latest Article is Creating a Test Track (part 1).   Over time the DCC Clinics will grow as more articles are added, particularly about the test track project.
